MBA – Healthcare Management
The Master of Business Administration (MBA) – Healthcare Management is delivered in two stages.
Stage One: This stage is taught and delivered by MSBM and contains SIX modules of 30 ECTS: – 6 – 8 Months
Credits: 30 ECTS
Stage Two: This stage is delivered online/on-campus by our partner university with a study of 30 ECTS: 4 – 6 Months
Credits: 30 ECTS
Assessment: Assignment/Project/Dissertation
The course aims to equip the learner with an understanding of the health care system, policies and industry structure to work with and management healthcare professionals.
In the introductory phase of your academic pursuit, the emphasis will be placed on honing the managerial competencies that are indispensable across various sectors. Subsequently, you will delve into sector-specific, specialist knowledge, which, in conjunction with the solid foundation of business fundamentals, will enable you to apply both strategic and operational thinking that is attuned to the healthcare sector.
The coursework will encompass an examination of diverse healthcare delivery systems, international healthcare regulations, and the unique economic dynamics of the healthcare industry. You will become conversant with the various drivers of the healthcare market, comprehend the manner in which healthcare policies are formulated, and appreciate the various stakeholders involved in the process such as politicians, corporations, and medical and pharmaceutical entities.
By acquiring a comprehensive understanding of the healthcare policy formulation process, you will be well-equipped to navigate the intricacies of the healthcare sector with ease in your future career as a healthcare manager.
