DBA – PhD in International Business
The IIDM Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) program in International Business is a doctoral program that aims to equip business students, managers, practitioners, and leaders with advanced knowledge, research, and analytical skills to tackle complex business problems. Unlike master’s programs, the DBA program emphasizes the practical application of theory to real-world business challenges. Through a transformative learning process, students will enhance their research skills, enabling them to view business situations differently and find solutions that promote organizational efficiency, growth, and long-term sustainability.
This program is flexible yet rigorous and can be completed entirely online. Students can determine their pace and program duration depending on the pathway they choose (coursework vs research). Although most students complete the program within three years, the research pathway can lead to a qualification in less time.
The IIDM DBA in International Business program emphasizes applied research to enable executives, managers, and practitioners to apply their learning in real-time to their organizations. The program aims to develop students’ expertise in all areas of international business and enhance their research, writing, presentation, critical thinking, and change management skills.
